Is Homecare Really Necessary?
100% homecare is a non-negotiable after your service. Taking care after your service is super important and here’s why:
Waxing
Without proper care after your wax you’re more likely to get ingrowns, experience more irritation, and possible breakouts. Exfoliating and moisturizing with the right products will help to keep your skin happy, healthy and bump free.
Lash Extensions
Lash extensions last longer when you keep them clean. If you don’t clean them regularly with extension safe products this will lead to a build up of oil, dead skin, make up, etc. This build up can also start to break down the glue and neighboring lashes can get stuck to one another. As they grow they pull on each other and can cause premature fall out. Bacteria also thrives in this kind of environment and can lead to possible infection.
Professional services can do a lot for our skin and enhance our features, but what you do at home matters even more. Some services require a little more at home care than other so if you’re not sure you can always ask. Think of it as the 80/20 rule; 80% of your results come from your homecare routine, while 20% come from me doing my part.
I can do my best to give you a great set of lashes or smooth hair-free skin, but you need to do your part by using quality products and having a regular routine to keep getting the best results. Investing in proper homecare means smoother skin, longer lasting lashes, and a more confident you all year round.
Waxing Essentials
Taking care of your skin between when the service is done to your next appointment is key in maintaining your results and getting a smooth wax each time. For aftercare I’m proud to carry Bushbalm, they’re a Canadian brand that’s all about skin care for your most intimate of areas. They have some great scrubs, oils, and ingrown hair solutions available that I personally have found make a huge difference.
If scrubs aren’t your things, no worries! I also have exfoliating cloths, gloves and sisal soap bags available as well. Everyone’s body, and preferences vary so how you exfoliate is going to differ too. I want to make sure that I have an option that will fit your needs.

Lash Extension Care
Clean lashes are happy lashes. To help keep them looking beautiful I have locally made foaming gentle lash cleanser and oil free makeup remover available. As well as some really cute lash cleansing brushes and travel mascara wands that come with their own cover so you don’t have to worry about them getting dirty or covered in lint. Great for for keeping in the car or your bag when you’re on the go.
